Hi everyone, so been here since Saturday now....what a heat!! Now i know what sylv meant by a sticky heat. hahap. So arrived on saturday afternoon, had a fairly quiet 1. A scary dog chased me up lane at side of guesthouse :( Met a lady on Sunday at Golden village, turned out to be Kerrys sis in law donna so spent most of day with her and her friend.

Today, i arrived at globalteers guest house and was shown around the town of siem reap and then in afternoon taken out to New Hope Project where i will be volunteering. What a welcome i got, two wee girls ran straight to me and gave me huge hug, they really are adorable. Spent most of afternoon in clinic with another girl from oz (tracey) who is a nurse and has been volunteering there for 3months so far and has done a lot of good work i think. Got to go into the last class of the day and observe. Hoping i will get to teach as thats what i really wanted to do and maybe do a little work at the clinic. Was out for a meal tonight, had macaroni haha not khmer food although i did have a khmer curry yesterday and it was fab!! Heading off to bed shortly and its only 9.30pm here, have been in bed early since i arrived, think it must be the heat.
